Put on your thinking caps and get your running shoes ready! This scavenger hunt will immerse kids in an exciting outdoor adventure, where they get to solve the case of Mother Geesele's missing egg. They’ll work through a detective case with a briefing, suspect list, and multiple clues spread throughout the park.

The game is a fun way for kids to get outside, stay active and use their thinking and imagination skills to solve a kid-friendly mystery.

Is the scavenger hunt self-guided?
Yes. The scavenger hunt will be accessible to every player on a mobile device. It is packed with all the information necessary to successfully crack the case, including clear directions, hints, and professional audio recordings. Young children (5-7 years old) will need guidance from an adult as well as help reading the text. 

Where does the hunt take place?
The game is available in Los Gatos (Oak Meadow Park) and in Palo Alto (Mitchell Park). You can book tickets for whichever location works best for you.

What ages is the hunt suitable for?
The hunt is most suitable for 6-12 year olds. Having said that, every child is different so slightly younger or older children can enjoy the game as well. Young children (5-7 year olds) will need some guidance from an adult as well as help reading the text that’s not narrated. Older children (10-13 year olds) will likely find the experience less challenging, but will still have to run throughout the park to collect clues and solve the case. 

Is the hunt good for birthday parties?
Yes! This scavenger hunt is perfect for fun, inclusive, and hassle-free birthday parties! We offer discounted pricing for large parties so kids can celebrate with all of their friends. Book the experience for up to 25 players for only $150, including all fees. All you have to do as the host is: ensure that kids are accompanied by a guardian with a smartphone, and split up into teams if you’d like. That’s it! Players will scan the barcode provided to begin the adventure. 

How many kids can participate in the game?
1 to about 40 kids can play the game simultaneously. Kids can enjoy the game with a parent or a sibling, or play with a large group at a party. 

How long is the game?
The whole experience takes 45 minutes to an hour. Kids will spend about 10 minutes learning about the case and the suspects, and then 35-50 minutes collecting clues throughout the park and solving the mystery.

What's the price?
Our base price for the first player is $20. You may add additional players for $10 each. 

What days and times are available for hunts?
You can schedule the hunt for any day
when the park is open. Please see the available time slots on the booking page.

What should we bring to the event?
Comfortable clothes and shoes, charged phones, and hats/ sunscreen/ water bottles on hot days. The game instructions will be sent to the event organizer by email.

What is the refund policy?
We do not offer refunds but your tickets are transferrable so you can give them to someone else to enjoy. We also do our best to reschedule games when asked.
